Scyk - Dunelizard - Kimogila - Krayt - Kihraxz (Vaksai) - Ixiyen - Rihkxyrk - Havoc - YT-1300 - AEG-77

The G1-M4-C "Dunelizard" is a ship available to all Privateer pilots at an early stage in the game. Manufactured by MandalMotors, it sports twin guns and heavier armor, but turns slower, than the "Scyk" fighter. This ship isn't always the best choice for pilots who enjoy speed over firepower, but is usually the better choice for engaging numerous enemies.

Pilot's notes[]

The dune lizard is one of the best leveling ships in the game. With its agile handling and 2 gun load out, it makes for a very easy ship to carry through ace. Works quite well even at the end game level with a Nova or Re'd 10 engine, 2x Re'd Borstels, Re'd 10 Shield, Deepwell Gamma cap, Re'd 6 reactor. Very good duty mission farmer. New pilots are recommended to stick with this ship until you have a load out for a Krayt ready.

Weapons configurations[]

This ship packs two weapons, which is an advantage against tier 1-3, and some slower tier 4, targets. A combination of an ion cannon and a laser cannon is useful when fighting shielded enemies, but less useful against non-shielded ones, as ion cannons do less damage to armor than laser cannons.

Star Wars Lore[]

As Outer Rim merchants forged relationships with high-end starship armor and shield system suppliers, the Hutt crime organization had to change their tactics. To continue unfettered piracy of the remote regions, (and to maintain profit margins) the Hutts commissioned a second ship from MandalMotors - a more capable, more heavily armored starship with significantly increased firepower over the "Scyk," but without sacrificing too much of the maneuverability upon which Hutt pilots had grown to rely. The result is the G1-M4-C "Dunelizard" starfighter: a lean, muscular space craft with impressive agility, and a generous weapons loadout.
